Ann Piermatteo - Project Manager
Ann holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Global Health from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). She has over 8 years experience in biomedical research, including 3 years as a research associate at Novoron Bioscience in San Diego where she contributed to a range of early-stage research programs. During this time, she worked extensively on a variety of techniques including protein production, biochemical assay development, and in vitro assay optimisation. She currently resides in Tasmania, Australia where she is pursing a PhD in Medical Research under Prof. Kaylene Young, focusing on the role of astrocytes in multiple sclerosis disease progression. Alongside her PhD studies, Ann plays an instrumental role in coordinating Novoroo’s research activities and collaborations in Australia across our programs.
